UK delivery procedures, bicycle freight, and in-store collection guidelines.

Owner Confirmation Notice: Specific courier rate bands (e.g. Royal Mail vs DPD parcel rates and bicycle courier fees) and any free shipping threshold are currently awaiting final owner confirmation before being set live in WooCommerce shipping zones. Standard delivery procedures and in-store collection guidelines are set out below.

Delivery Destinations

Cars ‘n’ Bikes ships to addresses across the United Kingdom, including:

  • Mainland England, Scotland, and Wales
  • Scottish Highlands & Islands
  • Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, and Isle of Man

(Note: Delivery to offshore islands or remote Scottish postcodes may incur extended transit times depending on courier network schedules).

Click & Collect (Free In-Store Collection)

We provide a Free In-Store Collection service from our premises:

Bicycle Delivery Procedures

Delivering bicycles safely is a specialist task. Here is how we ensure your bicycle arrives in pristine condition:

  • Professional Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI): Unlike box-shifters, every bicycle purchased from Cars ‘n’ Bikes is assembled and safety-checked by our workshop mechanics prior to boxing.
  • Tuning & Adjustment: Gears are indexed, hydraulic/cable brakes are tested and aligned, and all frame bolts are torqued.
  • Protective Packaging: The bicycle is secured inside a heavy-duty, reinforced corrugated bicycle carton with protective foam shielding delicate components.
  • Customer Final Setup: On arrival, you only need to fit the pedals (using appropriate grease) and straighten and tighten the handlebars. Clear setup guidelines are included with every delivery.

Parts & Accessories Delivery

Smaller parcels containing tyres, inner tubes, lights, pedals, and workshop maintenance products are dispatched via reputable UK tracked couriers. Items are securely packaged to protect packaging integrity.

Damaged or Missing Items in Transit

Please inspect your consignment carton carefully upon delivery. If the outer box shows clear signs of transit damage, please sign for the delivery as “Damaged” with the courier driver and take photographic evidence. Contact Cars ‘n’ Bikes within 48 hours on +44 1928 731575 so our team can immediately open a courier claim and resolve the issue for you.
